Minol USA cannot negotiate payment plan options. Utility charges are due to your community’s service provider by a set date each month, so late fee processing cannot be disabled. If you need help with a past-due balance, speak with your property manager or community management office.
A late fee, as allowed by law, is charged to your account if your payment is not received by the payment due date shown on your statement. A nominal billing administration fee is billed monthly, there is a one-time account activation fee, and returned checks are assessed the current bank NSF charge.
No. Minol USA is not a utility provider and has no authority to disconnect or restore service for any reason, including non-payment. If your service has been disconnected, contact your community management office or your local utility provider.
Minol USA is a third-party utility billing software and services company contracted by your community to handle its utility billing. Minol USA provides meter reading, utility billing, collections, accounting, and resident customer service for communities throughout the U.S., and is part of the global Minol-ZENNER Group with more than 60 years of utility management experience.
The owner of your community has chosen to have residents pay for their utilities separately, where in the past those costs were built into rent. The community receives one master utility bill from the local provider that is not broken out by individual usage, and Minol USA was contracted to allocate and bill those charges on behalf of your onsite management team.
Billing statements are normally generated monthly, though some communities are billed every two months. Your usage cycle follows your local utility provider’s normal billing cycle. Call Resident Relations at 888.636.0493 for the specifics of your community’s cycle.
Your first billing statement will arrive within four to six weeks of your move-in date. Utilities are typically billed in arrears because the billing cycle follows the local utility provider, so a statement mailed in February normally reflects January usage. Your community manager opens and closes your Minol USA account for you.
